A moment, on paper

A Little
Stillness

A poem for the unhurried

The light comes softly through the leaves, and rests upon the floor.I set my little worries downand ask for nothing more.

A sparrow stirs the quiet air,the kettle starts to sing. For now, the world is only this:the warmth of simple things.

A branch in the morning light Delicate olive-green leaves rise before a pale golden sun inside a fine arched frame.
Let the small things be enough.
